MGMGRAND.COM

The redesign of MGMGrand.com was a beast. Not only was it 100+ pages of content and a complex booking engine, it was the first installment of what would eventually become a redesign of every hotel website in the MGM Resorts International portfolio.

HOMEPAGE

Instead of building a different digital experience for each property, our strategy was to build one flexible platform made of modular, reusable components. So while MGMGrand.com, Luxor.com, Bellagio.com, etc., would all sit on the same foundation, each site would feel like its own unique, branded experience.

MAIN SECTIONS

Knowing that the platform needed to live at least five years, we designed MGMGrand.com using a combination of responsive and adaptive design. Each page was a fluid grid of components that could be switched around depending on the type of content we wanted. So even though we had a set number of components, they could be arranged in any order to make sure each page felt unique.

MOBILE TICKETING

On the less glamorous side, we also redesigned the entire booking experience to make it easier for guests to book hotel rooms, buy show tickets, and even pick their seats from their phone - not even Ticketmaster was doing that.
